Mission Overview

“Chop” is an early mission in GTA 5 where Franklin and Lamar attempt to repossess a motorcycle from a gang member. During the chase, Franklin uses Lamar's van while Chop tracks the suspect through the streets and train yards of Los Santos.

The mission introduces players to Chop's tracking ability and Franklin’s special slow-motion driving skill.

Gold Medal Objectives

• Not a Scratch – Complete the mission with minimal damage to Lamar’s van.
• Homedog – Enter Chop’s perspective for at least 10 seconds during the mission.
• Advanced Reflexes – Use Franklin’s special driving ability for a total of 7 seconds.

Guide Tips

To achieve the Gold Medal easily, avoid unnecessary collisions while driving Lamar’s van. Use Franklin’s special ability when navigating tight turns or chasing the suspect through traffic.

Once Chop begins tracking the suspect, switch to Chop’s camera view for at least 10 seconds to complete the Homedog objective.
